Inspired by Nicholas Roerich’s iconic painting Mother of the World, and influenced by my research into textiles and traditional clothing. Nicholas Roerich (1874-1947) was an artist, writer, archaeologist, philosopher, and mystic. Roerich promoted peace, the unity of religions and the protection of the world's cultural heritage through the Roerich Pact. He has depicted many great female deities, the most inspiring being Mother of the World.

Each linoprint is hand burnished, which means there will be a certain amount of texture and variation to each print.

A Certificate of Authenticity will come with each linoprint.

The paper dimensions are 28.5 x 29.3cm (9.8 x 9.8 inches).

The artwork dimensions are 22.4 x 23.1cm (7.5 x 7.5 inches).

Hand printed linoprint on 300gsm Arches hot pressed paper.

Shipped in a cellophane sleeve with a backing board for protection.
